Now day, youth would love to modify their own car,  from minor changing Number plate type, adding sport light to Major Modification like Transplant engine and so own, they doing this just to show their personalty.

Some how, a reasonable Modification might improve the car handling, more fun to drive, stable and so on,  but heavy MODIFICATION like transplant, Turbo Charging does request strong mentality …

Today i try to cover “why we should not heavy ” before you start to MOD please do ask your self below question :

1. Do you need that much horse power on daily drive ?
2. Are you able to handle it after MOD ?
3. You car Chassis suitable for the MOD ?
4. Would it cause dangerous for other user ?

Please watch below video, the video involve a turbo charge MX5, as car lover come MX5 owner, we do understand MX5 is fun to drive and very well balance built up car also well known World Best Selling Sport Car, but after the owner turbo charge the car, he lose all the fun of owning MX5, for example : full throttle in corner, stability, low maintenance, easy to drive ……

After watching above clip, ask your self, did he create him self a better fun car or he just Spoil all the fun ? for me he missing all MX5 fun, gain straight road performance and the tilte 335 BHP only

I think a lot driver would prefer convertible car (topless) then normal boring 3 box car but is hard for most first time buyer, due to Convertible Coupe ? Auto soft top ? Manual soft top ?

Let analysis,

Coupe convertible will have the most flexible compare with any soft top car, due to solid chassis, drive like normal coupe, but the disadvantage is obvious, pricey, heavy and very high maintenance cost ….. (BMW 3 serious, SLK, SL and bla)
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
Auto Soft top, is the most popular in the market due to, almost every car manufacturer have their convertible car with automatic soft top, is simple, just unplug two button (expensive car is just one click) and a click, also lower cost to built…. then free air (depend where, ok) for everyone, but disadvantage will be noise, insecure (some people found number protection on thin layer of leather), number theft protection ….
